PhD in Sports Management. grabs a spot in the National Top 10

Best Value Schools named Troy University Ph.D. in Sports Management as one of the top 10 such programs in the country.

The rankings from the Provo, UT-based organization were generated on a formula based on tuition rates per credit and graduate enrollment rates for each school. After sorting by the two, points were awarded to each school which were added for a final ranking score.

“The School of HSTM is honored and delighted to be ranked in the Top 10 Best PhD Students. in sports management programs. This is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the Sport Management faculty,” said Dr. Anthony Dixon, Professor and Director of the School of Hospitality, Sport and Tourism Management at Sorrell College of Business.

“The Faculty of Sports Management is committed to continuous improvement in order to become the number one Ph.D. in the sports management agenda around the world,” he said.

In addition to Ph.D. in sports management, the school offers a master’s degree in the field and three undergraduate concentrations: hotel management, sports management, and tourism management.
