Lecturer/assistant professor in sports management at UNIVERSITY COLLEGE DUBLIN (UCD)

Applications are invited for a full-time academic position in Sports Management at the UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science.

University College Dublin (UCD) is a market leader for the study of sport, with university sport-related subjects achieving a QS (top 50) global ranking in 2021 while the UCD MSc in Sport Management sport is ranked in the top 40 postgraduate programs globally. The School of Public Health, Physical Therapy and Sport Science is a research-intensive school with diverse teaching and research interests in the areas of public health, dietetics, food safety, physiotherapy, sports science and management, and occupational safety and health.

The School is committed to the highest standards in undergraduate and graduate teaching and research supervision. The positions will last for five and three years and the incumbents will primarily contribute to teaching and research in the field of sports management. They will also assume program management responsibilities as required by the school principal or candidate.

Salary: 95 Lecturer/Assistant Professor under the bar Salary range: €35,598 – €62,210 per year

The appointment will be made according to the scale and in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Finance.
